Answer:

Rising Village, Inc. began providing Residential Services in September of 2022 when the founder’s son headed off for college.

In what areas do you provide residential services?

Answer:

Rising Village, Inc. offers residential services in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County, Howard County, Calvert County, Charles County, Montgomery County, Prince George's County, and St. Mary's County

If I need short-term help caring for an individual with a developmental disability can Rising Village, Inc. help?

Answer:

Yes, Rising Village, Inc. offers hourly or short-term respite care for your loved one while you take time for self-care, relieve stress, or recharge. Respite care services may not exceed 45 calendar days within each year and may not be provided for more than 28 consecutive calendar days unless approved by DDA.

What training do your Direct Support Professionals receive to ensure quality services are being provided?

Answer:

Direct Support Professionals, as well as our Management Personnel, receive training that includes DSP Orientation, Rising Village, Inc.’s Philosophy and Objectives, First Aid & CPR, Human Rights, HIPAA Compliance, Understanding of Home and Community Based Services, Therapeutic Options, Medication Administration, Safety Awareness and Defensive Driving practices. Additional training is offered regarding the specific support needs of the people receiving our services.

Answer:

Rising Village, Inc.’s services are funded primarily through Medicaid. The funds raised through donations also help cover the cost of providing quality support services.
